Although Service PLUS Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning, Inc. has been in business for nearly 17 years, we had no real clear understanding of sound business and accounting systems to manage our business. Our business generated nearly $250,000.00 last year and yet we found ourselves asking each other on a monthly basis, “Where did all the money go?”
We had no formal systems in place to record income and expenses. That all came to pass when we enrolled in the Financial Blast course with Ellen.
Through Ellen’s patience, effective communication skills, and thorough knowledge of accounting and QuickBooks , she taught us basic accounting principals and fundamentals which we feel has transformed Service PLUS into a legitimate business. Our confidence level in operating our business has skyrocketed since we now have a clear understanding of our financials. We are now able to track all income and expenses on a daily basis. We now feel confidant when meeting with our CPA and are able to provide accurate numbers. Where once we were intimidated to ask questions, we now come prepared and are poised for growth.
Ellen’s Financial Blast opened our eyes in understanding our monthly overhead, thus resulting in adjusting our carpet cleaning and janitorial rates accordingly. We are now at a KFP (Known Financial Position) and we are excited about our future growth. We feel the cost of Ellen’s course has paid for itself many times over! It now feels wonderful to be in complete control over our business finances.
