The Power of Business Basics
To keep this company out of trouble we hired others at an expense of hundreds of thousands annually. I trusted others to do the right thing without ever verifying what the right thing was! It was one of many growing experiences I have had in the business.
My most memorable experience was a few days with Ellen and Gail. Ellen and Gail were brought in to give us a triple espresso shot of financial intelligence. During the next few days I personally witnessed our company transform. It was amazing; questions that I never imagined asking were being answered by the great people in our company. Information was flowing back and forth; things were coming together like a recipe. Although I still could not see what the finished product was going to be, I knew I was in the hands of a professional.
Our company was taught how to read and most importantly react to our financial situation. The end was getting clearer and I could see great habits were being taught by Ellen and Gail. I could see that there was something really great being left behind, financial independence
Fast forward three months to present day Winters Company. We have a budget and drive towards our goals. We know the score! Just saying those words is a gift that I never expected to receive. Our staff has the power to pull numbers together and make decisions on what the numbers are telling them. It’s a gift!
Management has had the blinders removed, Al Levi says that after the blinders are removed they never quite fit the same again, it’s true.
I am proud of the work we have done and the experience we have had with Ellen and Gail, I wear my Bare Bones Biz pin proudly and display our graduation certificate. It was a smart decision to have Ellen and Gail get involved with Winters. Everyone including myself has grown from the experience with Ellen Rohr and everyone at Bare Bones Biz. It was a great decision to have them in our company
