About Libby Ladu libby@rightbrainventures.com

Libby Ladu

In over 25 years of financial and management experience, Elizabeth “Libby” Ladu has helped improve systems, cash flow and profitablility for hundreds of businesses – small, medium and large.

During her years as Managing Director in the investment banking division of two large European banks, and more recently as Program Director of Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence, Libby has created business tools to help leaders articulate their plans and provided counsel to assist them in achieving their financial goals. This, paired with her past entrepreneurial experience as owner and president of the largest call center in New York City, gives her a unique ability to effectively communicate with business owners.

Libby founded Right Brain Ventures to give creative entrepreneurs the left brain tools they need to grow the businesses.  She believes systematic planning, knowledge of business finance and confidence in money matters is essential to building successful businesses and personal wealth.

ellen@barebonesbiz.com About Ellen Rohr

Ellen’s passion for business building began when she nearly sank her own family’s business.  Through the help of wonderful mentors, she learned how to keep track of the money…and make lots of it.

Ellen is a trade magazine columnist (PHC News, Roofing Contractor, ICS Specialist, Walls & Ceilings magazines) – providing “in the trenches” insight that business owners can relate to. Her consulting work led to a position as president of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, a home service plumbing franchise company.  On her watch, the company grew from zero to $40 million in sales…in 18 months.

Ellen is also the author of three business basics books.  Where Did the Money Go? – Accounting Basics for the Business Owner Who Hates Numbers, and How Much Should I Charge? – Pricing Basics for Making Money Doing What You LoveShe co-authored Making Friends with Your Financials with Libby Ladu and is working on The Make Mine a $Million Business Planning Guide.

“Thank you for the awesome information provided by yourself and Libby at the M3 seminar on Balance Sheet and P&L.  I have been in business 10 years, but this is the first time I could actually explain a Balance Sheet and how it works to someone else!  I'm now redoing both my P&L and Balance Sheet to better reflect my business, and with more accurate information.  Thank you for taking something many of us struggle with and making it understandable.”
