Ellen Rohr - Short Bio

Ellen RohrEllen Rohr, president of www.BareBonesBiz.com, teaches the basics, the few things that make all the difference to your business success.  Ellen nearly sank her own family’s business.  Then, she learned how to keep track of the money...and make more of it.  In turn, she has helped thousands of biz builders start, fix and grow their companies.

She is a columnist for PHC News, Business Journals, and lots of trade magazines– providing "in the trenches" insight that business owners can relate to.  As president of Benjamin Franklin, The Punctual Plumber, a home service franchise company, the company grew from zero to $40 million in sales, 47 locations, in less than 2 years.

Ellen is the author of four business basics books, including Where Did the Money Go?, The Bare Bones Biz Plan and The Weekend Biz Plan.

KERN Radio - Bakersfield

The Moneywise Guys radio show is hosted by three guys who discuss money and business while making it entertaining and humorous.  It is always a challenge to get the guest experts to add to the show in a lively way when so many experts in this area are relatively subdued. The topic of business can be a challenge to discuss on the radio because it can be very dry. We recently had Ellen Rohr on the Moneywise Guys radio program. We were thrilled with her energy and the knowledge she brought on the topic of business.   She took what could have been a dry topic and made it exciting and interesting. After the interview, we immediately booked her to come back on the show. She is not just a lively interview but she brings with her a great wealth of substance, along with the unique ability to share this knowledge in an entertaining and effective way.

Co-host of The Moneywise Guys on KERN 1180, Bakersfield, CA
